How much does a small business website cost in Canada?

What actually drives the price, and the difference between a website and a booking campaign.

There's no useful "average price". The cost of a website depends directly on what you want it to do and what you own at the end. Here are the real variables.

What drives the price

  • Scope. A focused single page, a multi-page marketing site, or a full platform with features.
  • Content. Copy, photos, videos: provided by you or produced by the vendor.
  • Features. Forms, online booking, payments, client portal, multilingual.
  • Integrations. Booking platform, CRM, email, ads, accounting tools.
  • Support. Ongoing help, maintenance, updates, fixes after launch.
  • Ownership. Domain, hosting, code, accounts: who owns them at the end?

Full site vs. booking campaign

A full marketing site and an online booking campaign don't answer the same need.

  • Full site. Multiple pages (services, about, contact, etc.), a general presentation of the business, an optional portal. The quote depends on scope and features.
  • 30-day booking campaign. One goal: generate more online bookings. It includes a focused booking page or targeted improvements to your current site, booking integration, Meta Ads management, local search essentials, tracking and a final review.

Our current benchmarks

SiteIn48's current founding rate for the 30-day online booking campaign is $1,997 CAD, plus a separate ad budget paid directly to Meta (roughly $600–$900 CAD recommended for the 30 days). A full site outside the campaign is quoted separately based on scope.

How to decide

If your priority is getting more appointments quickly and your offer is already clear, a focused campaign will often be the best starting point. If you're rebuilding your whole online presence, a full site project makes sense.
