5 reasons interested clients don't book

Common obstacles between discovery and booking, with simple fixes.

A client may already need your service. If the path to booking isn't clear, they move on. Here are five common obstacles.

1. They don't quickly understand what you offer

A homepage that talks about "solutions" without naming the actual service loses people. Name the primary service at the top of the page, with a concrete example and format (duration, location, starting price).

2. They can't find essential information

Address, hours, service area, contact methods, cancellation policy: this information must be visible without effort. Hidden, it becomes a reason to leave.

3. Your business doesn't show enough concrete proof

Real reviews, real photos, a named team, specific mentions of your training or certifications. Concrete proof replaces vague claims.

4. The booking process requires too many steps

Too many fields, too many clicks, a form that redirects elsewhere, a page that doesn't work on mobile. Every added step reduces the booking rate.

5. The next action isn't clear

The main button should say what it does ("Book an appointment"), stay visible throughout the page, and lead to a booking path with no detours.
